PRO-ICT – Promoting ICT to Female Students
Webbased e-learning platform to support women when entering into the information and communication technology sector
PRO-ICT will develop a web-based learning platform which supports female students from upper secondary schools, educational professionals, vocational guidance counsellors from public employment services as well as companies in key information and decision processes so that an increased proportion of females will choose a tertiary education and follow a career path in the sector of information & communication technologies and new media.
The partners of this project are from six European countries: Austria, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Bulgaria and United Kingdom as well as more than 20 dissemination partners, located all over Europe. The consortium combines expertise in gender-research, technical and didactical elearning expertise and provision of ICT studies and training schemes.
