GAMES will focus on how digitalisation could enable electric shared vehicle fleets to answer mobility needs while also creating new revenue streams by providing flexibility services for the electricity grid and energy communities.
Leveraging existing digitalised data, GAMES will assess the compatibility of shared electric vehicle fleets with the energy market and the mutual benefits arising from the interoperability between these sectors.
The focus of the Austrian partners is on the development and validation of new digital business models in the context of GAMES. Salzburg Research will conduct an open innovation process and stakeholder consultations to identify these new business opportunities. E7 will quantitatively validate them and develop a dynamic merit order model to develop economically optimal dispatch schedules, revealing the monetary benefit of the integration of shared EV fleets into a local energy system.
