After the Long Night of Research had to be postponed by a year, there will be a digital foretaste in October 2020. From October 9^th, numerous research institutions across Austria will be giving digital insights into their research work. The majority of the “digital stations” will be available by the end of the year.

On October 9, 2020 from 2 pm, the Long Night of Research will take place digitally for the first time: In times like these, the LNR cannot be carried out as usual. Therefore, this year, in line with the motto”Digital Transformation”, we will be offering an excerpt from the program exclusively virtually. Around 200 contributions from all 9 federl states will be shown online. The entire online program is available from October 9^th to December 30^th, 2020.

The next presence event of the Long Night of Research is planned for spring 2021.
