In the  Open StreetMap (OSM) Forum, the community-based project to create a global map base was discussed by experts and users. The Special Forum was divided into two parts:

• The first part was devoted to a short introduction to the project and questions about the data bases in OpenStreetMap.
• The second part focused on practical experience reports of speakers from different application fields such as transport, administration and tourism and leisure.

A final critical discussion provided motivation for further improving the quality of the OSM project.

Target Group: The Special Forum is open to all interested parties and users of Open StreetMap, but also active mappers.
