Survey: „Hiking for the Heart“

Regular hiking has been shown to have positive effects on the entire cardiovascular system and is a great way to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Together with a German-Austrian team, Salzburg Research is involved in the Interreg project “Connect2Move” with the development of a new, practical preventive health service to determine and improve personal heart fitness and health. The focus is on active people of the 50+ generation.

Health prevention is to be redesigned under the heading “Hiking for the Heart”: recommendations for suitable “Hiking for the Heart” routes in Bavaria and Salzburg that are tailored to personal fitness should help to improve cardiovascular health through targeted hiking training. We would therefore like to find out what services an optimal and practical prevention offer must bring to meet the needs of the hiking enthusiastic target group from 50 years. Take the online survey and help us to develop an optimal and practical offer!
