The new Science City Itzling pylon was unveiled on December 5, 2019. It provides better orientation and shows the research and educational institutions in the Techno-Z buildings in Salzburg Itzling.

The link between business and science is a key factor of the Itzling location: the further development of the Science City Itzling as a top location is a central component of the attractiveness of Salzburg as a location for knowledge and innovation. At the location, the fruitful growing together of technology-oriented companies, research institutions such as Salzburg Research and parts of the University of Salzburg is being promoted.
