Mobile broadband is often advertised as an alternative to wired Internet connections. Especially in rural areas, this is often the only option for a broadband connection. But how efficient is the network actually? Salzburg Research’s measuring system is awarded free of charge by the Broadband Coordinator of the State of Salzburg to citizens of Salzburg.

It will help you to find out if mobile broadband in your own home can meet your needs. The system is easy to install and measures the performance of the mobile Internet on site several times over several days. Through the longer, controlled viewing, you can also detect fluctuations or dips in performance depending on the time of day or day of the week.
