LabSchedulerPlus

LabSchedulerPlus is a research and development project in cooperation with the Johannes-Kepler-University Linz, aimed at developing a planing tool for a company from the chemical industries.

The resulting solution manages the priority based scheduling of requests for testing laboratories, taking mutual dependencies of requests, capacities of laboratories and machines, as well as the long term allocation of working capacities to customers into account.

The product under development is a bespoke, database centred application that can replace the previous time consuming meetings needed to coordinate the various stakeholders by a data-centric automated approach. Its success rests on a strong cooperation between users, and scientific and technical project partners.
