With around 4,500 participants, the Salzburg Business Run 2021 was once again the largest fitness event in Salzburg. Every year, employees of Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft also take part. In 2021, we were at the start with two interdisciplinary teams.

In 2021, two teams of 3 started on the so-called Q-Trail. With 11 kilometres, 4 mountains and almost 300 metres of altitude, the Q-Trail is Austria’s largest city trail run and the challenging extension of the Salzburg Business Run. This sporty route directly in the centre of a city is unique in Europe. One participant of a team of three will tackle the Q-Trail course, the other two participants will complete the classic business run course with a length of 5.9 kilometres. All three times are added together, the total time is determined and scored.
