Salzburg Innovation Conference 2017

Innovation always focuses on creating something new. Even small tips and tricks can trigger changes and make the innovation process in companies more efficient, cheaper and faster. On Thursday, November 16, 2017, the Salzburg Innovation Conference 2017, with more than 200 participants from different sectors of the economy, gave an overview of which simple innovation methods can be used quickly in companies.

The participation was free of charge and the event was started with a warm-up workshop by the InnovationLab (iLab) of the Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft m.b.H. Under the title “Internet of Things – With Simple Tools on Ideas and Prototypes for Open Service Innovations” (Beginners), this session, funded in the program INTERREG Italia-Austria*, offered participants the opportunity to learn more about the project Labs.4.SMEs (http://www.labs4smes.eu/) and its platform as well as planned innovation challenge to get to know innovation rooms of different kinds and get to know simple IOT-tools (3D-Doodler, Makey Makey kit, flic-button and more) try.

Visitors to the service area in the foyer were able to learn more about further innovation methods, to experiment with IOT tools and to ask individual questions to the team of experts.
