ICT Support for Depression in Old Age
This year’s e-Health Day was devoted to technology support for depression in old age. Five exciting lectures showed how ICT technologies can help identify early signs of depression in old age and how elderly people with depressive episodes can be supported by personalized, age-appropriate interventions.
Alexander Aschenbrenner from the Salzburg Diakoniewerk, Manuela Plößnig from Salzburg Research, Christiane Eichenberg from the Sigmund Freud Private University of Vienna, Björn Meyer from the GAIA AG and Anneliese Gottwald from the Johanniter service team led the afternoon with their informative presentations.
