Autonomous policy-based network management, as
designed by the NETQOS project, requires policy-oriented
measurements to provide enhanced end-to-end QoS and
efficient resource utilisation. This paper gives an overview
on the interaction between the policy management in the
NETQOS project and the measurement infrastructure that
delivers main input for policy evaluation and validation.
